President Muhammadu Buhari has appealed for compassion and tolerance in the face of the suffering his administration’s policies have caused.
The President, who made the call in Addis Abeba, Ethiopia, on Sunday said he was fully aware of the difficulties Nigerians were facing, but that the policies were intended to improve the country as a whole.
In a video recording, he thanked Nigerians for electing him to be President for two terms and urged them to vote for Senator Bola Tinubu, saying that he is reliable and that he has the ability to build on the achievements so far gained
In his message to the electorate, the President made direct appeals to traditional leaders, religious figures, and parents, pleading with them to warn both their followers and wards against allowing themselves to be used by a select few to stir up trouble.
He reiterated his conviction that the APC presidential candidate had demonstrated his commitment to the development of the nation and the welfare of its citizens.
