President Bola Tinubu has sworn in Senator George Akume as the new Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF.
According to event which took place at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, was witnessed by some serving and former Governors.
Also present was Vice President, Kashim Shettima, Senate President Ahmed Lawan, and Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan.
After swearing in the SGF, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu went on a closed-door meeting with State Governors.
Vice President, Khashin Shatima and the SGF, George Akume were in attendance.
On Friday, June 2, the President met with Progressives Governors’ Forum.
