The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB and the Movement for the Actualization of Biafra, MASSOB, has honour Biafra heroes and heroines who died during the Nigeria Biafra Civil war yesterday.
The annual day tagged as ‘Biafra Heroes Day Celebration’ by the IPOB, and “Biafra Anniversary Day” by the MASSOB, with same objective witnessed shutdown of day-to-day activities including banks, petrol stations, schools, hospitals, government offices, popular markets and motor parks.
Security agents under the “Operation Show Your Force” comprising the Police, the Army, the Navy, NSCDC and FRSC officials were on patrol to ensure harmony.
