Convicted popular kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, known as Evans, along with his co-defendant Joseph Emeka, charged for murder and kidnapping, seeks plea bargain option.
The state’s lead counsel, Yusuf Sule, informed the court of the development on Thursday when the case was scheduled for re-arraignment.
Before Justice Adenike Cokers at an Ikeja High Court, Evans and his co-defendant set for re-arraignment on an amended five-count charge encompassing murder, conspiracy to commit kidnapping, and attempted murder.
Sule therefore noted that the defendants had applied for a plea deal but still under review by the Attorney-General of Lagos State, Lawal Pedro.
