Governor of Niger State, Muhammed Bago has called on road users to show understanding and cooperate with the state government in its efforts to embark on the rehabilitation of a failed section of the Minna-Bida road.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the Governor explained that the rehabilitation work became imperative to serve as proactive step towards avoiding the yearly collapse of multiple cell culverts on the road especially during rainy season.
According to FRCN the six hours rehabilitation work will commence on the 18 of this month from 12pm in the afternoon to 6pm to achieve maximum results.
While assuring Nigerlites of his commitment to infrastructural development in the state, Governor Umar Bago urged commuters to use alternative routes; Bida-Zungeru-Minna road and Bida-Lapai-Minna road while the rehabilitation work last.
