Akwa Ibom States Governor, on Thursday visited President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Briefing Newsmen about his visit, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Umo Eno stressed that politicking should be put aside to encourage good governance.
He pledged the support, loyalty, and commitment of his State to President Tinubu and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
He said their allegiance to President Tinubu was aimed at giving him a sense of belonging and co-operation, expressing the hope that such would encourage the President to attend to the needs submitted to him.
“We talked about the Calabar-Itu road, we talked about our Ibom Deep Seaport. I also mentioned to him the free zone for our airport so that we can do maintenance, repairs, overhaul, and we can bring in spare parts to service airplanes”, Governor Eno stated.
On the removal of fuel subsidy, Governor Umo Eno also said his administration had begun moves to provide the people of Akwa-Ibom the much-needed palliatives to reduce the hardship on them.
