The Lagos Athletics Club Series has received registrations from 24 teams across Nigeria, according to Enefiok Udo-Obong, the Technical Director of Lagos State Athletics Association (LASAA). The first leg of the four-leg event will take place at the Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) Sports Complex on February 19, with all 24 registered teams qualifying to compete. The tournament aims to instill values of teamwork in athletes, and more teams will be able to register for the second leg. Udo-Obong expressed excitement about the turnout and interest in the championship.
