The Court of Appeal in Abuja has reserved Judgment in the appeal filed by the leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, challenging the seven charges against him by the Federal Government.
In the Appeal marked No: CA/ABJ/CR/ 625/2022; Kanu advocate, Mike Ozekhome (SAN) is challenging the seven-count leveled against is client and urged the Court of Appeal, Abuja, to strike out the charges citing lack of credibility.
It would be recalled that the federal government had re-arraigned Kanu on an amended 15-count charge bordering on treasonable felony. However, on May 28, the trial judge, Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court Abuja, struck out eight of the 15-count charge.
